Website: Christine's Bakery
Christine’s Bakery is one of the well-known bakeries offers
bagel sandwiches in the Klang valley. Established in 2017, the café bakery
serves a wide selection of Hand- Rolled Bagels, Sour Dough Pizza, All-day
Breakfast, Pasta and Desserts.
Bagels are the specialty here. In fact, Christine’s Bakery claims to serve one of the best Bagel Sandwich in Kuala Lumpur. The bakery offers 10 types of bagels to choose from, ranging from Beef, lamb, chicken, seafood and meat-free options.
Wagyu Steak Out (RM 39.80)
Price: RM 39.80
We ordered their Wagyu Steak out, which is one of their highly
recommended flavours. The bagel is filled with generous amount of Wagyu beef
steak, mozzarella cheese, mustard BBQ sauce, pickled cabbage, caramelized
onion, roasted tomato and garden green.
We love the bagel. It was chewy on the outside and soft on
the inside. The wagyu steak, however, was very disappointing. It was very dry
and tough, which was very hard to chew on. It doesn’t taste like wagyu beef at
all. Instead, it tastes more like some low-quality beef. Given the quality of the meat, I don’t think
it is worth the high price they are charging at all.
Mary's Lamb Aglio Olio
Price: RM 33
Besides Bagel, we also ordered Mary’s Lamb Aglio Olio to
share. The pasta is made with Montreal rubbed lamb shoulder, baby spinach,
roasted cherry tomato, garlic, red chili flakes, English parsley and chili padi
infused with extra virgin oil.
CONCLUSION
Plain water are free flow and comes in a big bottle. The ambience is great, but a bit cramped.
Tables are placed close to each other, thus lack of privacy. Prices are also a
tad bit on the expensive side.
