Craving for a savory bowl of Curry Mee? Try out Jia Li Mian Noodle House at Pandan Jaya.
The restaurant serves two types of Curry Mee - Penang-style and KL style. The difference between the two is the ingredients used.
𝑷𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒈 - Comes with soaked cuttlefish slices, shrimps and pig blood curd.
This is certainly one of the best Curry Mee places in the KL area. The restaurant is extremely busy during weekdays lunch and weekends breakfast to lunch. Be prepared to wait for quite a while if you come here during the peak hours.

𝑲𝑳- Comes with pork skins and curry chicken.
Other than Curry Laksa, they also serve Penang Asam Laksa, Mee Jawa, Fishball Noodles and some side dishes like Otak-Otak and Lobak. You can also order their All-in Curry Mee, which is a combination of Penang and KL Curry Mee.
I had Penang-style Curry Mee. The soup is mild but very creamy and fragrant with coconut milk. But it gets a little heavy as you eat due to the large amount of coconut milk used to make the soup. For spice lovers, this is definitely not spicy enough. However, you can adjust the level of spiciness with the Sambal. I chose to add in all the Sambal into the soup for more spice.
A small bowl of curry laksa costs RM 9. Considering the generous amount of ingredients, it is reasonably priced. A small bowl of it is actually very satisfying and filling. If you are not a super big eater, this is enough to fill you up. However, if you are a small eater like me, you may struggle to finish a small bowl of noodles by yourself.
Conclusion
