I started sharing about my beauty haul about 3 months ago. It was then that I realized how much I really enjoy writing and sharing about my recent purchases in this little space of mine. I don't how many of you guys will actually enjoy reading about my shopping haul posts, but nevertheless, I will still continue to share about them in the future. So, let's take a look at some of the beauty products I have purchased from the month of July to September this year.
Innisfree Auto Eyebrow Pencil (Black)
I recently ran out of my eye brow pencil, so I thought it might be good to try another brand. After searching around, I bought the Innisfree Auto Eyebrow Pencil from Hermo to try. The price was super affordable and there are a total of 7 different colors to choose from - Rose Brown, Black, Gray, Ash Brown, Espresso Brown, Urban Brown and Honey Brown. I picked Black because it matches my hair color best.
Innisfree Sea Salt Cleansing Water
I also purchased the Innisfree Sea Salt Cleansing Water from Hermo because I ran out of makeup remover, so I decided to give this product a try. The cleansing water comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pump, containing 300 ml of the product.
Formulated with Jeju lava sea salt extract, the Innisfree Sea Salt Cleansing Water claims to help to remove makeup and dirt completely. Jeju lava seawater salt is rich in mineral, which protects tired and lifeless skin, leaving it with a fresh finish.
As this is first time using a cleansing water, I am not sure what to expect. I have been using a cream based makeup remover for years, so I was skeptical about a water based remover can remove makeup, but surprisingly, it works amazingly well.
The clear plastic bottle comes with a reversed pump - simply place your cotton pad on top of it, press and the product is dispensed. The product is watery and clear, and has a slight flowery smell, which I did not really like. However, it does remove makeup (even eyeliner) efficiently. I will still double cleanse my skin to make sure all the makeup are completely removed. I also recommend using an eye remover in order to completely remove your eye makeup.
Kate Color Sensor Lip Tint (RD-2)
The lip tint comes with a rectangular shaped black plastic case with a triangular tip for even application. The design allows it to reach awkward corners and draw along the lip line easily.
Redken Rough Paste 12
This is not for me. I bought this Redken Rough Paste 12 for my husband from Lazada because it was on sale.
The paste comes in a plastic black tube with a pump, containing 75 ml of the product.
Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask & Skin Clinic Mask
It's Real Squeeze Mask
It's Real Squeeze is the cheapest sheet mask line that Innisfree offers. There are a total of 16 choices for you to choose from, each with different function - Acai, Aloe Vera, Bamboo, Bija, Blackberry, Cucumber, Green Tea, Kiwi, Lime, Manuka Honey, Pomegranate, Rice, Rose, Shea Butter, Strawberry and Tea Tree. However, not all the choices were on sale, and among those that were, quite a number of them were already out of stock by the time I visited their website.
Manuka Honey
I bought both the Manuka Honey and Kiwi face masks, but mainly Manuka Honey ones because I find it helps to repair and hydrate my skin efficiently. The Manuka Honey fills dehydrated and thirsty skin with moisture and nutrients. It is very soothing and moisturizing, which helps to reduce redness and irritation. Oh yes, it smells like honey too!
Kiwi
I bought a few pieces of Kiwi sheet mask from their It's Real Squeeze range to try too. Innisfree has claimed their Kiwi mask contains the vibrant moisture of freshly squeezed Kiwi that will help to create clear and moist skin. I could not wait to try it out!
One thing I like about the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze sheet masks is that they are really thin and fit well to my face.
I decided to try their Skin Clinic range after reading raving reviews about them. There are 7 different choices available - Peptide, Madecassoside, BHA, Vita C, Catechin, Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen. I picked up the Madecassoside and BHA masks from the Skin Clinic range.
Numis Med PH 5.5 Sensitive Day & Night Face Care Cream
Price: 3 For RM 190
My skin was in a very bad condition after my recent trip to Cameron Highlands. I started developing itchy red spots on my face, especially around my cheeks area. My skin has also become really dry, sensitive and appeared to be scaly and flaky.
I never had dry or sensitive skin in my entire life. My skin is always oily and I never had a problem with any skin care or makeup products. I have been applying lots of moisturizer on my face, but nothing works, until a colleague of mine introduced me to the PH 5.5 Sensitive Day & Night Face Care Cream from Numis Med. Numis Med is a skin care brand from Germany. All Numis Med products are vegan, soap free and contains no Parabens, Paraffins oils, Vaselines and dyes, making them suitable for people with extremely sensitive skin.
The face cream works miraculously on my red and irritated skin. It has helped to soothe the redness and irritation on my skin and reduced itching. The texture is very light and has a slightly watery consistency. My skin feels super moisturized, soft and fresh after application.
Be sure to follow me on Facebook or Twitter for any latest updates on my blog. So stay tuned!
