From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by dazzling array of flowers and plants, all bursting with different colors.
At the entrance, Mr Tsai, our driver cum tour guide, was kind enough to help us take a group photo before we actually went off exploring on our own.
Walking in, a Dutch-style windmill surrounded by hundreds of yellow tulips came into our sight. What a glorious sight!
Windmill and tulips are iconic symbols of Holland. We felt as if we were in Holland rather than Taiwan.
Walking through the entire garden takes around an hour but the likelihood is that you will stay longer than you have expected. We were mesmerized by rows and rows of flowers in every imaginable colors, all waiting to be photographed. So just like everyone else with a camera, we cannot resist taking as many photographs as we could when we saw this beautiful sight.
Most of our photos turned out wonderful, way beyond expectations.
There is no doubt that the striking colors, fresh air and floral scents make for a pleasant day out with family and friends.
There were also plenty of shade around to cool off under during a blazing hot, sunny day.
From the garden area, we also get to enjoy the beauty of Huoyan Mountain 火焰山 from afar.
Sunflowers are the happiest flowers of all. They always make me smile, no matter what size or shade of yellow they are. Of course, we did not want miss the chance of snapping some photo among the yellow happy flowers.
Amidst a sea of purplish lavender, we sat down at the white wooden piano, posing for photos.
We managed to capture some truly amazing pictures with the spectacular background.
We also enjoyed walking among the fields of flowers very much. But please be careful not to trample on the flowers.
Zhong She Toursight Flower Market would be best enjoyed by those who appreciate beauty in colors, flowers and gardens arrangement.
We spent a good 3 hours taking photographs and admiring the beautiful flowers in the Flower Market. It was a normal weekday when we visited, so the entire place was not crowded. We enjoyed hours of uninterrupted photo-taking time without having to wait for other visitors to walk pass first before proceeding to take pictures.
Personally, I feel that Zhong She Toursight Flower Market is well worth a visit even if you are not a flower lover. For us, this is definitely one of the must-visit attraction in Taichung! I will definitely recommend anyone to drop by if you have time in Taichung. But before that, please get your camera ready and prepare to be amazed by the 700 different varieties of seasonal flowers and plants featured in the Flower Market.

ReplyDeleteHi, we parked the car just outside the entrance. There are just a few flight of stairs. It should not be a problem for elderly because I was travelling with one too.
