During our recent 8D7N trip to Busan, we stayed at Avani Central Busan Hotel. Avani Central Busan is a relatively new 4-star hotel located in the heart of Busan's financial center. The upscale hotel is located right next to Busan International Finance Center (BIFC), about 5 minutes walk from Busan International Finance Center - Busan Bank subway station, and 10 minutes walk from Seomyeon shopping district.
HOW TO GET HERE FROM GIMHAE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
To get to the hotel from Busan Gimhae International Airport, we first took Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit (Purple Line) to Sasang Station. Then we transferred to subway Line 2 (Green Line) in the direction of Jangsan at Sasang Station to Busan International Finance Center - Busan Bank station. The entire journey takes about 45 minutes.
Alternatively, you can also take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. It takes approximately 40 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport by taxi.
Opened in 2020, the hotel lobby offers unique opportunities for business, relaxation and socializing.
The lobby consists of reception, a large conference table with multiple power and USB charging ports, as well as several comfortable couches. The lobby consists of reception, a large conference table with multiple power and USB charging ports, as well as several comfortable couches. The multi-functional space is not just a place for casual business meetings, but also for casual lounging and intimate conversations.
Other facilities at the hotel include a gym, a spa, fully equipped meeting rooms, a restaurant, and a sky bar. For those who drive, free private parking is also available on site.
Check-in time is strictly after 3 pm. There will be an extra charges of 11,000 KRW per hour imposed for early check-in. However, the early check-in option is subject to availability.
Although I requested for an early check-in before departure, the hotel was unable accommodate my request. However, they can keep our luggage for us before check-in.
THE ROOM
The hotel offers eight room types for guests to choose from, ranging from standard room to family suites.
We booked a Deluxe Mountain View Twin Room. Measuring 28 meters square, the room was delightfully spacious, clean and comfortable. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by a cozy and inviting ambience. The room features two king single beds, a spacious work desk and chair, a mini fridge, a flat screen TV with cable channels, free Wi-Fi and en-suite bathroom.
Other in room amenities include coffee and tea making facilities. Two complimentary bottles of water are provided in the room on a daily basis. Additional bottle will be chargeable.
The large windows in the room provide unobstructed views of the mountains and suburbs.
Other than that, the room also has universal power outlet and USB charging ports next to the bed. With this, you don't have to worry even if you forget bring your universal travel adapter.
The spacious bathroom features a large glass-enclosed shower, a studio makeup mirror and a washlet. Basic bathroom amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, towels, bath mat, bathrobes, cotton buds and hairdryer are provided. However, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion are provided via wall-mounted dispensers as single-use bathroom amenities are banned in South Korea under the new environmental regulations.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Avani Central Busan Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, providing easy access to the top attractions in Busan. The front desk staff are professional and speak good English. I would highly recommend anyone travelling to Busan to stay at this hotel.
